Planning Festive Corporate Gifting on a Budget
6 August 2026
Festive gifting season is when procurement teams feel the most pressure — tight timelines, large quantities, and a fixed budget that somehow needs to stretch further every year.
The biggest lever is quantity-tier pricing. Ordering in defined bulk tiers rather than an odd, unplanned number can bring the per-unit cost down meaningfully, so it's worth finalising headcount early.
Standardise the base kit and personalise only where it matters. A shared hamper base across the company, with a small role-based or team-based variation, keeps costs predictable while still feeling considered.
Book production slots early. Vendors' in-house manufacturing capacity fills up fast in the weeks before major festivals, and last-minute orders often mean paying a premium or compromising on branding quality.
Finally, consolidate delivery. If you have multiple office locations, a single coordinated pan-India delivery plan is almost always cheaper and less error-prone than each location ordering separately.
