How to Choose the Right Branding Method for Your Corporate Gifts

Not every branding method works on every product, and choosing the wrong one can mean logos that fade, crack, or simply don't look premium.

Laser engraving works best on metal, wood, and some plastics. It's permanent, doesn't add ink or colour, and gives a subtle, high-end finish — ideal for pens, flasks, and desk accessories.

UV DTF printing is a good fit for full-colour logos on curved or uneven surfaces like bottles and mugs. It holds detail well and works across a wider range of materials than screen printing.

Embossing suits leather and paper goods — notebooks, portfolios, card holders — and creates a tactile, debossed or raised logo without any ink at all.

Screen printing and digital printing remain the most economical options for bulk apparel and tote bags, especially for simple one- or two-colour logos at high volumes.

When in doubt, ask for a physical sample before committing to a full production run. A method that looks fine on screen can behave very differently on the actual material.
